Classroom workshop

"Go Big to Go Home"

Mark van der Feyst

Sr Battalion Chief, Six Nations Fire & Emergency Services, On

Sunday Afternoon 13:00 - 14:30

Synopsis

Go Big to Go Home

This presentation will explore the concept of “bringing the baseball bat to kill the fly” with respect to tactical operations for the fire service. With limited staffing responses, quicker heat release rates and with larger and more volatile fuel loads, fire departments need to address the situation with a Go Big approach so that the department can Go Home afterwards.
