Synopsis

"Coffee Cup Leadership"

We are in a profession where we understand that good leaders motivate and inspire the team. As a leader, you must be authentic and remember that leadership is entirely based upon relationships and doesn't have to be complicated. Today successful leaders embrace the ability to use soft skills and engage emotional intelligence (EI) as a critical part of their growth.

Based on his book, Coffee Cup Leadership, Les Karpluk will review the application of self-awareness, self-management, social awareness and relationship management competencies for leaders in this three-hour session and how they positively impact a leader's ability to deal with issues while having open and honest conversations with team members.
